Sila Thoranam Tirumala
- As per History, Lord Venkateswara came to Tirumala in search of his wife. She He had reverence towards the sage Brigu Maharshi, even though the sage had insulted him by kicking Him on the chest, the place where his wife Mahalakshmi was there. He stood at the Top of Tirumala, which is now called SRIPADAM.

- During excavations in the 1980's on a mound of earth in the jungles 1 km. North of the temple where it was believed that some information lied buried about the Lord's transformation into rock, a very rare phenomenon of two different sets of rocks connected together in the form of a thin link was found. This formation is known to exist elsewhere only at the 4 fingers of Texas and somewhere in Australia. This is pretty small in size relatively but what makes it unique and astounding is that nowhere in rock formations known to exist on the Indian soil have been found to be of this type and also, the height of The Lord confirms exactly to the distance of the pinnacle of the arch from the foot of the same! Also, two other formations excavated along with resemble the celestial conch and the discus that are the Lord's possessions. These have not been carved even remotely. They are formed naturally very mysterious indeed! This geological arch is a very rare spectacle in the world. This arch (older than the Jurassic age) is 25ft in length, l0ft in height. S.V. Museum Tirumala

This fort was constructed before 1000 years. At that period the place where this fort is located was in the Vijayanagar Empire. At the time of declining of Vijayanagar Empire, the value of two states also started declining and one of the powerful kings from Nayaka dynasty Shivappa Nayaka sworn as ruler of the area. He was the man behind construction of various forts in his Empire and Chandragiri fort was among various forts constructed by King Shivappa Nayaka. The area where this fort is located is very scenic and full of natural beauty. Dense forestry, greenery and adventurous treks to the fort are very interesting for visitors even after 1000 years too. This place is geographically located in Eastern Ghats. The region, where this fort s located is also populated with other historical buildings. Various famous temples like, Srivari-Mettu, Srinivasa-Mangapuram and Agasthreeswara are some famous example where regular and huge crowding is seen. Chandragiri was made the capital of Vijayanagar Empire and at that time, the Sultan of Golkunda attacked on Penukonda. In the period of 1646, an annexee towards Golkunda attached to this fort and later the same came into Mysore territory. Around this temple, there were more than eight hundred temples of Shaiva and Vaishnava community. Still there are the ruins of Raja Mahal and Rani Mahal is found. In the Raja Mahal, a museum of archeological importance is presently being operated.

History
- Gurramkonda is a Hill-Fort town whose historical name was Zafarabad. It hosted over forty mosques, all since destroyed. One Sufi saint named Hazrath Shah Kamal came from Kirman of Old Persia and settled here. He taught Islam to the locals, spreading it throughout the village and its surroundings.
- It was a fort town for the Vijayanagara kingdom under King Sree Krishna Deva Raya. The name came because the rulers rode horses to reach their palace at the top of the steep hill. Konda means Hill and Gurram means Horse.

- Kuppam area was ruled by Kangundi Zameendarrs from 1066 AD to 1950 AD. There is a historical place called Kangundi 25 Km away from Kuppam, which has fort, where from the Zameendars ruled the area. - There is no direct transportation to this place, One should start walking from Papanaidu Peta.
- Papanaidu peta is near to Renigunta and little far from Tirupati. A.P.S.R.T.C runs bues to Papanaidu Peta from Renigunta and Tirupati ( at less frequency). Share Autos runs to Papanaidu Peta at high frequency from Renigunta Junction.
- Falls is located at 22 Km from Tirupati.
Kona Malleswara Kona
- Venkatagiri is surrounded by a dense forest, which extends to the Tirumala Hills. This forest houses beautiful falls one such is Kona Malleswara Kona. Here, water falls from 80 feet height. Shiva Lingam located here which is of 300 years old.

- Kona Malleswara Kona falls near Gollapalli. From Yerpedu to Venkatagiri Check point there is a mud road near to Check post. From check post it takes to Gollapalli. Gollapalli is 5 km from main road and from the village it is by walk to this falls.

Ubbalamadugu falls Tada
- Ubbalamadugu falls Tada is near Varadaiah Palem Village. Ubbalamadugu forest which spreads over Varadaiahpalem and Buchinaidu Kandriga mandals is interesting picnic spot. It is located to the North of SriCity in Chittoor district. This falls continues to lure youth from all parts of South India. It is the best picnic spot during Summer when water flow is normal. Usually trekkers prefer climbing Rock hills at Ubbalamadugu falls for best view from top. While in winter flow will be high and security over there will not allow for trekking due to safety reasons. The falls are located in a forest called Siddulaiah kona. Lord siva is located here, Maha sivaratri festival is celebrated here in a grand.
- How to reach Ubbalamadugu falls?
- Direct bus runs at low frequency to Varadaiah Palem, instead one can board Tirupati - Chennai, bus route : Tirupati- Sri Kalahasti - Varadaiahpalem - Tada - Chennai. You can get down at Varadaiahpalem.
- From Varadaiahpalem, share autos, mini cabs runs to Ubbalamadugu Forest entrance. Which is at 7 km from VaradaiahPalem.
- From forest entrance grate falls is at 3 km, falls located next to siva temple.
- For safety reasons, one can stop here. During winter rocks will be slippery.
- During summer, one can step forward to reach next falls which is at 2 km away from Siva temple. Attention is not required, as rocks quite huge. Security staff is deployed here for safety reasons.
- Tada falls is 72 km from Tirupati, 35 km from Sri Kalahasti and 97 km from Chennai.
- From chennai, it is same route in reverse direction. Chennai - Tada route - Varadaiahapalem.

Different Routes To Ubbalamadugu Falls Tada
- Route 1: Tirupati - Tiruchanoor Bypass - Sri Kalahasti - Varadaiahpalem - Falls ( No toll in this route) From Chennai
- Route 2: Chennai - Red hills - Tada - Varadaiah palem - falls ( this route is having 3 toll gates with four lane road)
- Route 3: Chennai - Tiruvallur - Uthukotai - Sathyavaedu - Varadaiahpalem - Falls (This route is not having any toll gates, usually single and double roads with good scenic view as it pass thru villages)
- Route 4: Chennai - Avadi - Thiruninravur - Periyapalem - Sathyavedu - Falls.
Precautions At Tada Fall
- Do not enter restricted zone, which is meant for your safety.
- Do not consume liquor.
- Do not enter pool over there unless you know swimming.
- Do not leave waste materials in the forest.
- One can stay up to 4 pm at falls.
- Nearby hospital is at 14 km away from Falls.
